Set in a rugged and unspoilt stretch of land in Sicily's extreme West and surrounded by the Thyrrhenian and Mediterranean Seas, Cantina Ericina is the custodian of many old, bushvine-trained vineyards. These small patches deliver the raw material for some of Sicily's most distinct white and red wines from Catarratto, Grillo, Inzolia, Nero d'Avola and Frappato.
The region, which boasts a wide range of complex soil composition chockful with minerals ranging from chalk and limestone with high rock content to magnesium rich brown soils, plays an equally able host to several international grape varieties.
